Century Aluminum Names Veteran Executive Peter Trpkovski Chief Financial Officer

Century Aluminum Company (NASDAQ: CENX) today announced that Peter Trpkovski has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 1, 2023.

Trpkovski brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in the metals and mining industry. Most recently, he served as CFO of ASARCO LLC, a leading copper and zinc producer. Prior to that, he held various finance leadership roles at Freeport-McMoRan Inc. and Phelps Dodge Corporation.

As CFO, Trpkovski will be responsible for leading Century Aluminum's financial strategy, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and investor relations. He will work closely with the company's leadership team to develop and implement financial plans and initiatives that support the company's growth and profitability goals.

Trpkovski holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Arizona. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
