Comcast Empowers 100 Small Businesses in Grand Rapids and Muskegon with Robust Grant Support
Comcast RISE to Provide $100,000 to Grand Rapids and Muskegon Small Businesses with Comprehensive Grant Program
Philadelphia, PA – April 25, 2023 – Comcast today announced that its RISE (Representation, Innovation, Support, and Entertainment) program will provide $100,000 in grants to small businesses in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. The comprehensive grant program is designed to support minority-owned and women-owned small businesses in the region, providing them with the resources they need to grow and succeed.
The Comcast RISE program is a multi-year, $100 million commitment to support small businesses owned by women and minorities. The program provides grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 to help small businesses cover a range of expenses, including marketing, equipment, and operational costs.

To be eligible for the grant, small businesses must be located in Grand Rapids or Muskegon, be at least 51% owned by a woman or minority, and have annual revenues of $500,000 or less. The application process is now open and will close on May 15, 2023. A panel of judges will review the applications and select the recipients.
