Now is Really Good Time to Buy Bitcoin, Says $1 Trillion Investment Manager

A top investment manager overseeing over $1 trillion in assets has advised investors to buy bitcoin, citing the cryptocurrency's growing institutional adoption and increasing mainstream acceptance.

In an interview with CNBC, Michael Novogratz, the founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital, said that the current market conditions make it an attractive time to buy bitcoin. Novogratz's firm is a leading player in the digital asset management space, with a focus on cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

"I think now is really a good time to buy bitcoin," Novogratz said. "I think we're at a point where the institutional investors are starting to get comfortable with the idea of owning bitcoin."

Novogratz pointed to the recent surge in institutional investment in bitcoin, citing the likes of Tesla and MicroStrategy, as evidence of the growing acceptance of the cryptocurrency. He also highlighted the increasing number of mainstream companies, such as Square and PayPal, that are integrating bitcoin into their platforms.

Despite the recent price volatility, Novogratz remains bullish on the long-term prospects of bitcoin. He believes that the cryptocurrency's limited supply, combined with its increasing adoption and the growing demand for digital assets, will drive its price higher over the long term.

"I think we're going to see a lot more institutional investors come into the space, and I think we're going to see a lot more retail investors come into the space," Novogratz said. "And I think that's going to drive the price of bitcoin up."

Galaxy Digital's investment strategy is focused on the long-term potential of digital assets, rather than short-term price fluctuations. The firm's investment products include a bitcoin fund, which has seen significant inflows in recent months.

Novogratz's endorsement of bitcoin comes as the cryptocurrency's price has stabilized in recent weeks, following a period of significant volatility. The price of bitcoin has fluctuated wildly over the past year, driven by a combination of factors including regulatory uncertainty, market sentiment, and technical factors.
