Cryptocurrency Market Expected to Soar to New Heights
Bitcoin to Surge with or Without President Trump's Backing, Says Devere Group CEO, Here's His Six-Figure Target
The CEO of Devere Group, a global financial services firm, is predicting a significant surge in the price of Bitcoin, regardless of whether or not President Trump decides to back the cryptocurrency.
Nigel Green, the founder and CEO of Devere Group, made the bold prediction in an interview with CNBC, stating that Bitcoin's price will reach $100,000 by the end of the year. Green's forecast comes as the price of Bitcoin continues to rise, currently trading above $60,000.
When asked if President Trump's backing would be a catalyst for the price surge, Green was unequivocal. "It doesn't matter whether Trump backs Bitcoin or not," he said. "What matters is the fundamental value of Bitcoin, which is increasing every day."
Green's prediction is based on his belief that the growing adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors, such as pension funds and family offices, will continue to drive up the price of the cryptocurrency. He also pointed to the increasing use of Bitcoin as a store of value, similar to gold, as a key factor in its future success.
"It's not just about speculation, it's about people wanting to hold onto something that's going to hold its value over time," Green said. "And that's what Bitcoin is providing."
Green's six-figure target for the price of Bitcoin by the end of the year is based on his expectation that the cryptocurrency will continue to gain mainstream acceptance and adoption. He believes that once the price of Bitcoin breaks through the $100,000 mark, it will open up new opportunities for investors and could lead to a new era of growth for the cryptocurrency.
While some may view Green's prediction as overly optimistic, the CEO of Devere Group is confident that his forecast will come to pass. "I've been in this industry for over 30 years, and I've never seen a cryptocurrency with the fundamentals that Bitcoin has," he said. "I'm not just predicting a 10% or 20% increase, I'm predicting a 50% or 60% increase in the price of Bitcoin."
