21Shares Launches Bitcoin, Solana, and XRP ETPs on NASDAQ Stockholm
Swiss-based digital asset manager 21Shares has announced the launch of three new exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the NASDAQ Stockholm exchange. The new ETPs track the prices of Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), and XRP (XRP), respectively.
The 21Shares Bitcoin ETP, which is listed under the ticker symbol BITX, tracks the price of Bitcoin on the Bitstamp exchange. The Solana ETP, listed under SOLX, tracks the price of Solana on the Solana blockchain. The XRP ETP, listed under XRPT, tracks the price of XRP on the RippleNet exchange.
These new ETPs are the first to offer exposure to Solana and XRP on the NASDAQ Stockholm exchange. The addition of these two cryptocurrencies brings the total number of ETPs offered by 21Shares to 14, with a combined market capitalization of over $1 billion.
The launch of these new ETPs is expected to increase access to these cryptocurrencies for institutional investors and retail traders in the Nordic region. The ETPs are designed to provide a cost-effective and efficient way for investors to gain exposure to the price movements of these cryptocurrencies.
"We are excited to bring these new ETPs to the market, providing investors with even more options to gain exposure to the digital asset space," said Hany Rashwan, CEO of 21Shares. "Our ETPs are designed to be transparent, regulated, and accessible, making it easier for investors to participate in the growing digital asset market."
The 21Shares ETPs are listed on the NASDAQ Stockholm exchange and are available for trading under the ticker symbols BITX, SOLX, and XRPT. The ETPs are traded in Swedish krona (SEK) and are subject to the usual trading risks and fees.
