Mastercard and PayTab Launch Payment Platform to Aid Egyptian SMEs
Mastercard, a leading global payments company, and PayTab, a leading fintech company in Egypt, have launched a new payment platform designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Egypt. The platform aims to simplify and streamline payment processes for Egyptian businesses, enabling them to focus on growth and expansion.
The new platform, which is expected to be available in the coming weeks, will offer a range of innovative payment solutions, including digital wallets, online payment gateways, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. The platform will be designed to be user-friendly and accessible, making it easier for SMEs to manage their finances and make payments.
According to Mastercard, the new platform is a key part of its efforts to support the growth of SMEs in Egypt, which are a vital part of the country's economy. The company notes that SMEs in Egypt face significant challenges when it comes to managing payments, including high costs, limited access to financial services, and a lack of standardized payment systems.
"We are excited to launch this new payment platform in collaboration with PayTab," said Gianluca Brugnoli, Executive Vice President of Mastercard's Middle East and Africa division. "Our goal is to provide Egyptian SMEs with the tools and resources they need to succeed, and we believe that this platform will be a game-changer for them."
PayTab, which is a leading fintech company in Egypt, has been working closely with Mastercard to develop the new platform. The company has a strong track record of providing innovative payment solutions to SMEs in Egypt, and is well-positioned to support the launch of the new platform.
"We are thrilled to be working with Mastercard to launch this new payment platform," said Ahmed El-Kady, CEO of PayTab. "We believe that this platform will be a major boost for SMEs in Egypt, and we are excited to see the impact it will have on the country's economy."
The new payment platform is expected to be available in the coming weeks, and will be rolled out across Egypt in the coming months. It is expected to support a wide range of businesses, from retail and hospitality to finance and manufacturing.
