CBOE Exchange Files to List Fidelity's Solana ETF

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list Fidelity's Solana ETF, a new fund that tracks the performance of the Solana blockchain.

The Solana ETF, which is sponsored by Fidelity Investments and has an expense ratio of 0.85%, will trade on the CBOE BZX Exchange under the ticker symbol SLNA. The fund will track the Solana Blockchain Index, which is designed to measure the performance of the Solana blockchain and its related companies.

The Solana blockchain is a fast and scalable platform that is designed to support a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps) and use cases. It has gained popularity in recent months due to its high transaction speeds and low fees.

The listing of the Solana ETF on the CBOE BZX Exchange marks a significant milestone for the Solana ecosystem, as it will provide investors with a new way to gain exposure to the blockchain and its related companies. The ETF will be the first publicly traded fund to track the Solana blockchain, and its listing is expected to attract a wide range of investors, from institutional funds to individual traders.

"We are excited to list the Solana ETF on the CBOE BZX Exchange," said Brett Messer, President of the CBOE. "The Solana blockchain has shown tremendous growth and potential, and we believe that this ETF will provide investors with a new and innovative way to gain exposure to this exciting space."

The Solana ETF will be managed by Fidelity Investments, one of the largest and most experienced asset management firms in the world. The fund will be listed on the CBOE BZX Exchange, which is a leading exchange for trading cryptocurrencies and other digital assets.

The listing of the Solana ETF is expected to take place in the coming weeks, subject to regulatory approval. Once listed, the ETF will be available for trading on the CBOE BZX Exchange, and investors will be able to buy and sell shares of the fund through a brokerage account.
