Honoring Valor

Tomorrow, the National Medal of Honor Museum will host its grand opening celebration, with a mission to inspire and honor those who have served.

Located in Tupelo, Mississippi, the museum is dedicated to the stories of the nation's highest honor, the Medal of Honor, and the men and women who have earned it. The grand opening celebration is set to take place on March 25, with a series of events and activities designed to bring the community together and pay tribute to the heroes who have served.

"We are thrilled to finally be opening our doors to the public," said Carolyn Blake, the museum's CEO. "Our mission is to inspire and educate, and we believe that the stories of Medal of Honor recipients will do just that. We are proud to be a part of the Tupelo community and look forward to sharing these incredible stories with our visitors."

The museum features interactive exhibits, artifacts, and immersive experiences that bring the stories of Medal of Honor recipients to life. Visitors will be able to explore the history of the Medal of Honor, learn about the heroes who have earned it, and experience the sacrifices they made to serve their country.

The grand opening celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a special presentation by Medal of Honor recipient Colonel John L. Herrick, and a series of interactive exhibits and activities. The event is free and open to the public, and will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the museum's location at 3050 West Main Street in Tupelo.
