Newport News, VA - Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) celebrated the graduation of 2024 apprentices from the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School on March 24. The 2024 class marks the 74th graduating class of the esteemed program, which has been in operation since 1940.
The Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School is a four-year apprenticeship program that provides students with hands-on training and education in various shipbuilding and repair trades.
