Societe Generale Names William Connelly as Future Chairman of the Board of Directors
Paris, France, April 10, 2025 – Societe Generale (SocGen) announced today that William Connelly has been appointed as the future Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective May 2026.
Connelly, a seasoned banking executive, has spent over three decades in the financial industry, with a strong track record of leadership and strategic vision. He currently serves as the Group Chief Operating Officer at SocGen, where he has been instrumental in driving the company's digital transformation and growth initiatives.
