Phyllis Nomura Promoted to Chief Financial Officer of First Fed Bank and First Northwest Bancorp

TACOMA, Wash., March 27, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Fed Bank and First Northwest Bancorp (OTC: FNWB) announced today that Phyllis Nomura has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of both companies, effective immediately.

Nomura, a seasoned financial executive with over 20 years of experience, has been serving as First Fed Bank's Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since 2018. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and operations of both First Fed Bank and First Northwest Bancorp, in addition to her current responsibilities.

She will also be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and planning, as well as leading the finance team.

Nomura holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and is a certified public accountant (CPA). She has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to the financial industry, including being named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal's "40 Under 40" in 2012.
