
Panda Palooza: A Four-Day Extravaganza of Fun, Food, and Furry Friends
Dragon Fest 2025 Returns with Citywide Celebration and Four Days of Panda Fun
Chicago, IL - April 25, 2025 - Dragon Fest, the city's largest and most anticipated Chinese cultural celebration, is back for its 2025 edition. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a citywide celebration that will take over the city for four days of non-stop panda fun.
From April 25th to 28th, Chicago will transform into a vibrant tapestry of Chinese culture, music, and cuisine. The festival will kick off with a grand opening ceremony at Millennium Park, featuring a stunning dragon dance performance, traditional Chinese music, and a special appearance by the iconic Shanghai Circus.
Throughout the four-day celebration, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide range of activities and attractions. These include:
- Panda-themed zones, featuring interactive games, face painting, and photo opportunities with life-sized panda cutouts
- A citywide scavenger hunt, where participants can solve puzzles and challenges to win prizes and bragging rights
- A diverse lineup of Chinese music performances, from traditional folk to modern pop and rock
- A mouth-watering array of Chinese cuisine, from popular dishes like Peking duck and wonton soup to innovative fusion creations
- Artisan markets, showcasing handmade crafts, jewelry, and souvenirs
- A special "Panda Palooza" zone, dedicated to all things panda, including a giant panda sculpture, panda-themed merchandise, and even a panda adoption station
