Trezor Suite Now Supports Solana Staking

March 20, 2025 - In a major development for the Solana ecosystem, Trezor, a leading provider of cryptocurrency hardware wallets, has announced that its Trezor Suite software now supports Solana staking.

Trezor Suite is a comprehensive cryptocurrency management platform that allows users to manage their digital assets, including staking, from a single interface. With the addition of Solana staking support, Trezor Suite users can now participate in the validation process of Solana transactions and earn a share of the network's block rewards.

Solana's proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism is designed to be more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly than traditional proof-of-work (PoW) mechanisms. By staking their SOL tokens, users can help secure the Solana network and earn a passive income.

"We're thrilled to announce that Trezor Suite now supports Solana staking," said Marek Palatinus, Trezor's CEO. "Our goal is to provide our users with a seamless and secure way to manage their digital assets, and Solana staking is an important addition to our platform."

Trezor Suite's Solana staking feature allows users to set their own staking parameters, including the amount of SOL to stake, the staking duration, and the target annual percentage return. The platform also provides real-time updates on staking performance, including the current staking reward rate and the total amount of SOL staked.

The addition of Solana staking support to Trezor Suite is expected to further increase the platform's appeal to users of the Solana ecosystem. With Trezor Suite, users can now manage their Solana tokens, stake their SOL, and earn a share of the network's block rewards, all from a single interface.

Trezor Suite is available for download on the Trezor website and is compatible with a range of devices, including desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices. For more information, please visit the Trezor website.
