Sprott Physical Platinum and Palladium Trust Updates Its At-The-Market Equity Program

TORONTO, March 31, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sprott Physical Platinum and Palladium Trust (the "Trust") announced today that it has updated its at-the-market equity program (the "ATM Program") to permit the issuance of up to an additional 1,125,000 Trust Units, representing approximately 5.5% of the Trust's currently outstanding units.

The ATM Program, which was initially established in 2023, allows the Trust to issue and sell Trust Units from time to time, at its discretion, to raise capital and manage its liquidity. The updated ATM Program will enable the Trust to issue additional units as needed, subject to certain conditions and limitations.

"We are pleased to update our ATM Program to provide the Trust with greater flexibility to manage its capital structure and respond to changing market conditions," said Barney Wasmuth, President and CEO of the Trust. "This program will enable us to efficiently raise capital and maintain our liquidity, while also providing investors with a convenient way to invest in the Trust."

The Trust Units to be issued under the updated ATM Program will be listed and traded on the TSX under the symbol PPL, and will be priced at the prevailing market price at the time of issuance. The Trust will use the proceeds from the issuance of these units to support its ongoing operations and to maintain its liquidity.

The Trust is a closed-end investment trust that seeks to provide investors with a convenient and cost-effective way to invest in the physical platinum and palladium markets. The Trust's units are listed and traded on the TSX under the symbol PPL. For more information, please visit our website at www.sprott.com.
