Space Tourists Return to Earth After Private Flight to ISS

Two private space tourists have safely returned to Earth after a 10-day journey to the International Space Station (ISS), marking a milestone for the burgeoning space tourism industry.

The tourists, who were not named, blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on April 8 aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft and docked at the ISS on April 9. During their stay, they conducted scientific experiments and enjoyed the unique experience of living in space.

The pair returned to Earth on April 18, landing safely in the steppes of Kazakhstan. The successful mission marks the first time that private citizens have traveled to the ISS and back, and it paves the way for future commercial spaceflights.
