The Rise of Gunzilla: How an Indie Game Studio Resurrected Game Informer Magazine
Game Informer Magazine Revived by Gunzilla Games
In a surprise move, Gunzilla Games, the independent game development studio behind the upcoming sci-fi shooter, "Battlestate", has announced that it is reviving the iconic gaming magazine, Game Informer.
The magazine, which was first published in 1991, was a staple of the gaming industry for over two decades, providing readers with in-depth reviews, previews, and features on the latest games. However, in 2014, the magazine was discontinued by its then-publisher, Imagine Media.
According to sources close to the matter, Gunzilla Games' decision to revive Game Informer was prompted by a desire to connect with the gaming community in a more meaningful way. "We're a team of gamers ourselves, and we know how much Game Informer meant to many of us growing up," said Gunzilla Games' CEO, in a statement. "We're excited to bring back the magazine and provide readers with the same level of quality and passion that they've come to expect from Game Informer."
The new version of Game Informer will be published quarterly, with the first issue set to hit newsstands in the spring. The magazine will feature a mix of print and digital content, including reviews, previews, and features on the latest games, as well as interviews with industry professionals and a look at the latest gaming trends.
Gunzilla Games has also announced that it will be launching a new website and social media channels to support the magazine, which will provide readers with up-to-the-minute news, reviews, and previews of the latest games.
The revival of Game Informer is seen as a major coup for Gunzilla Games, and a sign that the company is committed to building a strong connection with the gaming community. "We're thrilled to be bringing back Game Informer, and we can't wait to share it with readers," said the CEO. "We're confident that our passion for gaming will shine through in every issue, and we're excited to see what the future holds for our new magazine."
