Societe Generale Provides Information Regarding Executed Transactions within the Framework of a Share Buyback Program Outside the Liquidity Agreement
Paris, France, March 17, 2025 - Societe Generale (the "Company") hereby informs that, within the framework of its share buyback program, it has executed transactions on its own shares outside the liquidity agreement, as follows:
- On March 16, 2025, the Company purchased 23,000 of its own shares at an average price of €22.45 per share.
- On March 17, 2025, the Company purchased 15,000 of its own shares at an average price of €22.62 per share.
These transactions were executed by the Company's broker, BNP Paribas Securities Services, and were completed outside the liquidity agreement, which is a separate agreement aimed at ensuring the liquidity of the Company's shares.
The total number of shares repurchased by the Company since the inception of the share buyback program is now 1,438,000 shares, representing approximately 0.63% of the Company's total issued share capital.
The share buyback program is aimed at reducing the Company's share capital and is part of its overall capital management strategy. The program is subject to the approval of the Company's shareholders and is in compliance with relevant regulations and applicable laws.
