Disney Cuts Prices and Adds Perks to Lure Families Back to Orlando Parks

In an effort to boost attendance and attract more families to its Orlando theme parks, The Walt Disney Company has announced a series of price cuts and added perks.

Effective immediately, Disney has reduced the cost of single-day tickets to its four Orlando parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom - by up to 20%. The new prices range from $109 to $159 per adult, depending on the park and the time of year.

In addition to the price cuts, Disney is also introducing a new "Park Hopper" option, which allows visitors to visit multiple parks in one day. The new option will cost $159 per adult and $149 per child (ages 3-9), and will be available for purchase online or at the park gates.

Other perks being offered by Disney include:

  • Free parking for all guests, regardless of the time of year or the number of days they plan to visit the parks.
  • A new "MaxPass" system, which allows visitors to reserve and redeem FastPasses using their mobile device. The system will be available for a small fee, with discounts available for annual passholders.
  • A selection of new and improved dining options, including a new restaurant at Epcot's Norway pavilion and a new food truck at Hollywood Studios.

According to Disney officials, the price cuts and added perks are designed to make the company's Orlando parks more appealing to families and other visitors. "We're always looking for ways to make our parks more enjoyable and accessible to our guests," said a Disney spokesperson. "These changes are just the latest in a long line of efforts to make our parks the best they can be."

The price cuts and added perks are effective immediately, and can be taken advantage of by visitors to Disney's Orlando parks. For more information, visit the Disney website or contact a Disney representative directly.
