Haier debuts three-drum 'Lazybones' washing machine that handles multiple loads at once
Chinese home appliances giant Haier has unveiled its latest innovation in laundry technology - a three-drum "Lazybones" washing machine that can handle multiple loads simultaneously.
The Lazybones, which was showcased at the recent China International Furniture Expo in Guangzhou, is designed to simplify the laundry process and reduce energy consumption. According to Haier, the machine uses a unique three-drum design to wash, rinse and spin three loads of laundry at the same time.
The first drum is used for washing, the second for rinsing, and the third for spinning and drying. This allows users to load multiple loads of laundry into the machine at the same time, eliminating the need to run multiple cycles and reducing the overall energy consumption.
Haier claims that the Lazybones machine uses up to 30 per cent less energy and 50 per cent less water compared to traditional washing machines. The machine also features advanced sensors that detect the type of fabric being washed and adjust the wash cycle accordingly.
The Lazybones machine is the latest addition to Haier's line of smart home appliances, which are designed to make life easier and more convenient for consumers. The company has been investing heavily in research and development to create innovative products that meet the changing needs of consumers.
The Lazybones machine is expected to hit the market in China later this year, with international launches planned for 2023. Haier has not yet revealed the pricing details for the machine, but it is expected to be competitive with other high-end washing machines on the market.
